Purpose of Review <p>To review and summarize recent innovations in refractive surgery for myopia in 2025; focusing on advancements in laser and lens-based procedures; as well as discussing the emerging role of artificial intelligence (AI) in diagnostics and surgical planning.</p> Recent Findings <p>Current laser platforms have improved safety, precision and visual outcomes in Laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis (LASIK), Photorefractive keratectomy (PRK), and Keratorefractive lenticule extraction (KLEx) to offer more individualized refractive care to patients. Phakic intraocular Lens (IOLs), specifically EVO intraocular collamer lens (ICL), is now a widely accepted intervention for moderate to high myopia, offering reversibility and high patient satisfaction. Lastly, artificial intelligence is emerging as a tool for patient screening, diagnostics and surgical planning in refractive surgery patients; specifically, artificial intelligence has demonstrated superior accuracy in predicting ectasia risk and ICL vaulting.</p> Summary <p>Refractive surgery in 2025 is marked by continued innovation, expanded indications, and increasing individualization. Integration of AI and improved platforms enhances diagnostic precision and treatment outcomes, signaling a transformative era in refractive care.</p>
