<p>6061-T6 aluminum alloy is widely employed in structural applications as its strength and durability ensure the structural integrity while maintaining the required strength. Aluminum gets its optimal properties via alloying elements and thermal treatments depending on its intended usage. This promotes the development of tiny precipitates that improve mechanical behavior and obstruct the migration of dislocations. This study focuses on the thermal treatment of Aluminum 6061 T6 alloy at different aging time duration. The thermal treatment process is evaluated in connection with the aluminum 6061 T6 alloy's ultimate strength and hardness. Further, laser machining modeling of 6061 T6 Aluminum alloys are performed to observe the temperature distribution, stress distribution and heat affected zone during laser cutting.</p>
