Modeling and Analysis of Die Design for Equal Channel Angular Pressing Process with Mechanical and Micro-structural Behaviour of Light Weight Materials
摘要
Aluminium alloys are the most demanding material from the last decade due to their excellent mechanical characteristics i.e. high strength, toughness, ductility, and corrosion resistance. A wide range of Al alloys have been developed with different series all grades of Al have versatility applicability in many industrial applications due to light weight, hardenability, corrosion efficient, and durability. Furthermore, a thorough examination of die design modeling for ECAP is provided, with an emphasis on several computational approaches and how they help optimize die geometries and process parameters. The paper provides insights into the design process and challenges related to achieving desired material properties by synthesizing current advances in modeling methodologies for ECAP dies. The overall goal of this evaluation is to further knowledge and development of the SPD and ECAP procedures.
