摘要

This study examines the crucial organizational components that affect SMEs’ readiness for Lean Six Sigma. The objective of this study is to determine and validate the behavioral and structural facilitators of LSS implementation readiness, based on the frameworks for Organizational Readiness for Change and the Resource-Based View. A Quantitative survey was carried out with 139 manufacturing SMEs. Six hypotheses were created for measuring both resource-based (knowledge, resources, and training) and behavior-based (management support, enthusiasm of employees, and welfare) aspects of Readiness. The data validity and reliability are established using factor analysis, and Hierarchical Multiple Regression in SPSS (v26) is used to test hypotheses. The study offers one of the first integrated RBV–ORC models for evaluating LSS readiness in Indian SMEs and also gives theoretical and practical insights for SMEs’ executives and policymakers interested in quality improvement readiness.
