摘要

Energy-efficient methods for mineral processing are gaining more attention as the world’s energy needs rise and sustainability becomes a top priority. One such innovation is the use of stirred media mills for ultrafine grinding(UFG), which provides better control over particle size and energy efficiency than conventional grinding techniques. With an emphasis on its use in the mining and mineral processing sectors, this study examines the development of ultrafine grinding technology between 1984 and 2024. The assessment emphasizes how agitated mills help release fine minerals, lessen their negative effects on the environment, and increase economic efficiency. This study looks at developments like new mill designs, computational modeling, and the use of high-efficiency grinding systems. While empirical results demonstrate the superiority of stirred mills over conventional tumble mills, bibliometric analysis aids in the comprehension of research trends. By highlighting significant advancements, practical difficulties, and potential paths forward in ultrafine grinding, this paper seeks to add to the body of knowledge in sustainable communication.
