<p>The present study focuses on developing a novel oxygen concentrator using the Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technique targeting oxygen shortage in the medical domain. This oxygen concentrator is life-saving for patients in case of emergencies. The design encompassed a newly developed Arduino-controlled sensor circuit for detecting oxygen leakage, advancing over earlier oxygen concentrators. Oxygen purity levels of nearly 85% at 30 PSI were achieved in the developed system. The system successfully passed medical standard validations, confirming efficiency and safety. This improvement makes the system suitable for deployment in emergency scenarios and recourse-constrained areas. Thus, the present study fulfills the need for low-maintenance oxygen-producing medical devices in resource-constrained regions.</p>
