摘要

This research investigates the design and optimization of a gear air motor, focusing on integrating conceptual framework, material selection, and structural optimization to enhance efficiency, durability, and performance. Through the use of sophisticated computational techniques like Finite Element Analysis (FEA), the study takes into account important variables including torque production, speed, noise level, and operating environment. Strength and manufacturing viability are taken into consideration when selecting materials, with Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) for structural components for precision parts. The study uses internal structures to preserve strength while lowering mass, and it employs topology optimization to minimize weight and enhance load distribution in components like side panels and the main body. In addition, the study evaluates ball bearings for stress and deformation to guarantee dependable operation and optimizes the main body’s design to control dynamic pressure loads and improve airflow efficiency. It has been observed that maximum total weight reduction is 11.25% by utilizing ribs and topology optimization approaches. It has also been observed that the better material distribution and additional structural support improve performance while reducing superfluous bulk, leading to this notable reduction.
