Unveiling the Quantum Internet: Potentials, Challenges, and Security Issues
摘要
The work of this paper investigates the prospects and challenges of the Quantum Internet, which in turn highlights vulnerabilities in quantum communication protocols. Our study utilizes both qualitative and quantitative methods to identify critical gaps in the current quantum network topologies and security mechanisms. A question might be asked here, what do experimental studies talk about quantum cryptography algorithms? The answer to that question, some quantum technologies, such as key distribution and entanglement protocols remain vulnerable to attacks, including quantum hacking and implementation flaws. These risks are particularly concerning in the healthcare sector, where the secure transmission of sensitive patient information is essential. The discovery emphasizes the urgent need for robust security protocols tailored to the unique characteristics of quantum communication. This research addresses the aforementioned issues, improves understanding of quantum cybersecurity and proposes strategic frameworks for the secure incorporation of quantum technologies in healthcare. The findings hold broader significance, offering crucial insights to guide policy-making and technological progress, so enabling the creation of a secure Quantum Internet for improved data practices across several sectors.
