Implantable UAV Antenna for Human Presence Detection in Disaster Management

Human presence detection in disaster scenarios is very critical and much needed for instant response and recovery. Recently various researches are carried in the field of disaster management. This paper focusses on experimental study of micro-strip antenna using an optimum Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) for detection of human presence under earthquake scenarios. Earthquake scenarios are proposed in this paper explaining importance of micro-strip implanted on UAV to detect human lives by observing change in received signal strength in µV/dB. The experimental study focuses on designed antenna on UAV for aid and quick response to disaster survivors during emergency situation. The paper depicts the near field and far field effect of antenna used in UAV. The paper discusses field trials demonstrating the practical possible scenarios of human presence, dog and cat presence and benefits of UAV-driven antenna system. SWOT Analysis is considered to understand and analyse the human presence detection system.
