Web Platform as Path-Guide for Professional Students: A One-Stop Solution

While in college, students often need faculty guidance and websites to start their technical journey. There is a need for one-stop web platform for professional/engineering students who want to work on technical projects. The bridge between the theoretical aspects and real world is project-based learning which helps students to learn new things. So, the proposed work developed a web portal that provides features such as a project catalogue, invite/request system, roadmap builder combined with a recommendation system to recommend projects to users. The efficacy of proposed work is a root mean square error of approximately 0.2 as compared to already available methods. In the future version of work, features like interview preparation, doubt resolving platforms and many others can also be added to enhance the performance and usage.
