<p>Partial Sleep Deprivation (PSD) is a critical issue affecting long-haul truck drivers in India, contributing to 38% of truck driver-related road accidents. PSD impairs cognitive and physical abilities, jeopardizing traffic safety and driver well-being, with significant societal and economic implications. This study explores the socioeconomic, occupational, and lifestyle factors contributing to driver fatigue, addressing a critical gap in the literature. Data on demographics, health, work-rest patterns, financial incentives, and safety–critical events was collected via a structured questionnaire. After preprocessing, K-means clustering identified four driver profiles, ranging from low-risk groups with balanced routines to high-risk groups marked by extreme fatigue and regulatory non-compliance. Targeted interventions were proposed for each cluster to mitigate risks and improve driver well-being. This research aligns with the national agenda of occupational health and sustainable development, offering strategies to reduce fatigue-related incidents and enhance the safety and quality of life for truck drivers.</p>
