摘要

The steel shear wall system has been introduced among engineers and researchers during the last five decades as an effective system with effective performance and good behavior under the effect of lateral loads. The significant advantages of this system have caused its use to develop all over the world. Among the main advantages of these walls we can mention the stiffness and high bearing capacity, as well as the ability to absorb significant energy. On the other hand, reinforced concrete structures have many applications in the construction industry due to the cheapness and availability of materials and other advantages. In this research, the behavior of reinforced concrete moment frames reinforced with steel shear walls with partial connection to boundary elements has been investigated using Abaqus software. In this research, in addition to the reinforced concrete frame equipped with a steel shear wall with full connection of the plate to the boundary elements, partial connections of the plate to the boundary elements were also investigated. After validating a laboratory sample in Abaqus software, the outcomes of the non-linear static analysis performed on the finite element models displayed that the resistance and initial stiffness of the samples with partial connections had been reduced compared to the sample with the full connection of the plate to boundary elements. Also, increasing the percentage of infill plate’s connection to the boundary elements led to an increase in the mentioned parameters.
