<p>Ocean data, information and advisory services are crucial for advancing the Blue Economy by offering guidance for sustainable ocean resource management and economic growth. These services support sectors such as marine fisheries, aquaculture, offshore energy, shipping, tourism, and ports, and play a key role in marine spatial planning and ocean governance. They are also vital for managing risks from ocean-related disasters like tsunamis, cyclones, and storm surges, and enhancing maritime safety through accurate forecasts and early warnings. Efficient management of oceanographic data from various observing systems, including in-situ and remote sensing platforms, is important for generation and dissemination of these services effectively and pivotal to empower the Blue Economy initiatives. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is fundamental in this process, facilitating data collection, real-time telemetry, processing, analysis, and dissemination. Advanced computational techniques enabled by ICT have transformed operational oceanography, improving model predictions and data visualization. This paper explores the ICT systems deployed at the Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS), detailing the communication and computational infrastructure essential for data handling and generation of services and dissemination. It also provides a brief overview of INCOIS’s ocean observing system and its ocean information and advisory services, including marine ecosystem services, ocean state forecasts, multi-hazard early warnings, and marine geospatial and data services, which bolster Blue Economy initiatives.</p>
