摘要

The replacement of waterlogged cultivation for drylands is an alternative to the production of rice, due to the need for water and changes in relief of the soil. By looking for new lands to dryland systems, bad conditions can be found as low fertility or even the presence of aluminum in soil. Therefore, this work aimed to know different rice cultivation systems in acid soils with aluminum. The experimental designed was a 2 × 5 scheme: two methods of cultivation (waterlogged cultivation and dryland) and five concentrations of aluminum in soil: 2; 4; 8; 16 and 32 mmol dm−3 of Al, with five repetitions, total of 50 plots. Water availability is a limiting factor to the development of rice culture in soils with presence of aluminum, in which concentrations above 2 mmol caused damages in the morphology from root and leaf and the development of the rice plant.
