<p><i>Callitriche raveniana</i> Lansdown (Plantaginaceae), hitherto considered endemic to Taiwan is being reported for the first time from India, based on collection from Mullayanagiri peak of Chandra Dhrona Hills of Western Ghats, Karnataka. A comprehensive morphological description along with photographic documentation is provided in the present communication. A key to all currently known species of <i>Callitriche</i> Linn. from India is provided to facilitate easy identification of this species.</p>
