<p><i>Radula anceps</i> Sande Lac., hitherto known only from Little Nicobar of Nicobar group of Islands, is here reported for the first time from mainland India based on collections made from Ultapani Forest Range of Kokrajhar District, Assam, India. This finding represents a significant extension of its distributional range within India. Detailed description, photoplate and a brief taxonomic note are provided based on the collected materials to facilitate easy identification.</p>
