Ionome Analysis of Cluster Bean Using ICP-MS (Inductively-Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry) Grown Under Organic Regime of Sikkim
摘要
A field experiment was conducted in 7th Mile, Gangtok, to evaluate the effect of sowing time on the ionome profile of cluster bean pods under an organic regime in 2023. Five sowing times were tested, and pod samples were analyzed using ICP-MS. The results indicated significant variation in the ionome composition and S5 sowing time indicated the highest nutrient accumulation, although heavy metals remained within permissible limits. Climatic conditions during the S5 enhanced nutrient uptake, highlighting the critical role of sowing time in determining the pod quality.
