摘要

Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells (PEMFCs) are emerging as a promising clean energy solution. However, the complex, non-linear structure of fuel cell systems necessitates accurate modelling for simulation, design, and analysis. Empirical equations and mathematical models are employed for design purposes. Researchers utilize various optimization techniques to estimate parametric coefficients and other parameters that influence both the steady-state and dynamic behaviour of fuel cell systems, as these values are often unavailable in manufacturer datasheets. A bibliometric analysis was conducted of the Scopus database to explore research trends from 1990 to 2024. A total of 711 articles related to PEMFC parameter estimation techniques were identified. The visualization tool VOSviewer is employed to analyse the structural network of these publications. The annual publication rate, contributing countries, institutions, authors, keywords, and references, along with their interrelationships, were comprehensively examined. The analysis reveals that China is the country with highest publication in this field whereas Minia University in Egypt topped the list of publication for the said duration. This quantitative analysis provides valuable insights into the growing research trend in this field and serves as a reference for researchers interested in this domain.
