<p><i>Psammogeton indicus</i> sp. nov. (Apiaceae), a new species from Jammu and Kashmir, India, is described. It differs from its closely allied <i>P. canescens</i> (DC.ex Boiss.) Vatke and <i>P. suchaniensis</i> Bhellum &amp; Magotra in having glabrous leaves, leaflets oblanceolate, inflorescence with 1–2 peduncles per node, about 9&#xa0;mm long bracts, rays up to 10 in number. An identification key to Indian species of <i>Psammogeton</i> Edgew., comparative details, morphology, illustrations and images including phylogeny are presented. In addition, a map indicating location of species in district Samba of Jammu and Kashmir, India is also provided.</p>

摘要

Psammogeton indicus sp. nov. (Apiaceae), a new species from Jammu and Kashmir, India, is described. It differs from its closely allied P. canescens (DC.ex Boiss.)
