摘要

Global health systems are facing previously unheard-of difficulties as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has also exposed notable differences in responses between various jurisdictions. In this article, pandemic responses in different nations—including India—are analyzed and compared using the EPCG (educational institutions, public administration, corporations, and governance) model. The EPCG framework is created by a cross-disciplinary group to thoroughly investigate reactions of educational institutions, public administration, corporations, and governance. The EPCG model provides a thorough framework for comprehending the ways in which various factors affect the efficacy of epidemic control tactics. This study determines important lessons and suggestions for enhancing future responses to public health issues by looking at educational institutions, public administration, corporations, and governance structures. Its results emphasize how critical it is to fortify the health care system, guarantee strong political leadership, improve inter-organizational coordination, and implement adaptive governance techniques. The knowledge obtained from using the EPCG model offers helpful direction for creating more robust and successful emergency preparation plans.
