Introducing an Innovative Exponential-Logarithmic Equation of State for Solids at High Compression: HCP Iron Exemplifies This Groundbreaking Advancement
摘要
In present study, we developed a new exponential-logarithmic equation of state by applying the necessary conditions of the equation of state and satisfying Stacey’s criterion of the equation of state, which was derived through fitting parameters. This equation is one of the simplest forms after the Murnaghan equation of state, incorporating both attractive and repulsive potentials and delivering accurate results. Although its accuracy at low compression is lower than that of other equations of state, this accuracy improves as compression increases due to the logarithmic function in the equation. Therefore, this new equation of state is expected to be more reliable and broadly applicable in condensed matter physics due to its accuracy at higher compression.
