Recollection of the Endemic Plant Hypericum lobbii (Hypericaceae) After 133 Years of Type Collection
摘要
This paper reports rediscovery of an endemic plant Hypericum lobbii in 2022 and 2023 after a gap of 133 years since its type collection. Earlier the plant was collected and described from Mawphlang in East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya, India by Thomas Lobb during 1890. A detailed description of the species, phenology and photographs are provided to facilitate its easy identification. Priority conservation is highly recommended for this strict endemic species because it is restricted to a single locality in Khasi Hills, Meghalaya.
