<p>Present study reports on natural restoration of seagrasses such as <i>Halophila ovalis</i>, <i>Halodule pinnifolia</i> and <i>Halodule uninervis</i> at lower region of Haripur creek during the course of Covid-19 pandemic (2019–2021). Prior to the present study seagrass meadows were impoverished from Haripur creek during 2012 to 2019 which may be the collective effect of anthropogenic and natural factors such as tropical cyclone. Indeed, the impacts of physical disturbances such as anchoring of boat, massive human activities, urban sewage, plastic pollution coupled with other pollution sources might have imposed substantial stress on sea grass meadows of Haripur creek. However natural restoration of seagrass at lower stretches of the creek indicates habitat aptness uttered during Covid-19 pandemic lockdown periods when human activity reasonably reduced. Present study concludes that active ingress of tidal water, reduced human activity, storm less coastal climate along with other environmental factors robustly supports the natural restoration of seagrass at Haripur creek.</p>

摘要
