摘要

Callosobruchus chinensis L. is a destructive pest of stored pulses. Experiments were conducted to identify its damage potential and bio-management with four botanicals. White chickpeas were found to be most preferred host for oviposition (62.53%), while black chickpeas suffered highest damage (96.67%). Among evaluated botanicals against C. chinensis adults, black pepper showed highest mortality (93.33%) at 24 h after treatment (HAT). Neem and Vitex were also effective, while turmeric showed lowest mortality.
