First Report of the sea cucumber, Bohadschia atra Massin, Rasolofonirina, Conand and Samyn, 1999 (Echinodermata, Holothuroidea), from the Andaman Islands (Indian Ocean)
摘要
The present work extends the geographical range of Bohadschia atra Massin, Rasolofonirina, Conand, and Samyn (1999) to the Andaman Islands, located in the Bay of Bengal, between 6° and 14°N latitude and 92° and 94°E longitude. The species identification was confirmed using the original description, based on morphological and ossicle structure analysis. The species only previously known distribution record for India was restricted to the Arabian Sea.
