<p>Uniper is investing around € 50 million in the comprehensive renovation of the Waldeck 1 pumped storage power plant. The focus of the project is on renovating the upper reservoir in two construction phases, renewing the shut-off valves and renovating the pressure pipeline, as well as overhauling the pump turbine. The completion of the first construction phase in autumn 2025 will mark an important milestone.</p>
