Dezentrale Niederschlagswasserspeicher als Rückhalte- und Bewässerungssystem
摘要
Water-sensitive urban design measures include decentralized reservoirs with a multifunctional effect. The design of these systems as stormwater tree trenches enables the irrigation of urban trees that suffer from drought stress during periods of low precipitation. The effect of a system developed by Humberg GmbH together with Münster University of Applied Sciences was investigated in comparison with conventionally planted reference trees. The results of a three-year measurement phase prove the positive effect of the systems.
