Maßnahmen zum Schutz von Fischpopulationen, ein ganzheitlicher Ansatz bei großen Wasserkraftanlagen am Inn
摘要
To foster and conserve fish populations large investments (around 100 Mio. €) and concepts in re-establishing connectivity and in restructuring rivers have been carried out by the Hydropower sector at the River Inn. To pursue the common goal, to reach the good environmental status (water frame directive), different approaches and concepts are followed. To offer river specific solutions to reach the good ecological potential a “best environmental option” should be implemented and chosen according to our experiences. Almost all discussed projects are in heavily modified water bodies and the focus of the plant owners is to identify reachable key habitats for specific species and establish these along respective rivers, tributaries, oxbows and especially in bypass channels. The attempt is to offer reachable habitats for the whole live circle from the spawning area, the juvenile phase up to the adult stage. These aspects can be more important for the conservation of fish populations than to stick to only one aspect the known connectivity guidelines and respective rules.
