The aim of the presented research is to numerically reproduce bedload transport processes in channel bifurcations and to evaluate the results of CFD bedload transport simulations. For this purpose, a large-scale channel bifurcation was numerically simulated and compared with the physical model in terms of bedload deposition shape, bedload distribution in the channel areas and bedload distribution over time.
