Forschungsprojekt zum Umgang mit Talsperrensedimenten am Beispiel einer Stauanlage der Revierwasserlaufanstalt Freiberg, Sachsen
摘要
The dams located in and around the Saxonian Ore Mountains contain a lot of (heavy-) metal-rich sediment (a. o. As, Pb, Cd, Zn, Cu) deposits. To maintain the functionality of the water reservoirs, it is mandatory to extract these sediments. In search of a strategy that combines economic values, ecological improvement and sustainability these sediments might be used as soil substitute, soil conditioner, sealing of disposal sites, or brick components. The goal of the BMBF-research program “ResuS - Recycling of subhydric sediments” is to find solutions for a versatile reuse of contaminated subhydric sediments on a large scale. To achieve reliable results, the development of sufficient underwater sampling methods is one of the central points. Inferred analytical conclusions will reveal recycle and reuse options. Thereafter, potential recycling technologies will be tested.
