The Inn dams and embankments, due to their extensive maintenance, play a pivotal role as connecting axes for high-quality meadow habitats, which have been significantly reduced by intensive agriculture, land sealing, and neglect. Care that meets water engineering requirements and is tailored to the diversity of these sites contributes to promoting biodiversity. During implementation, it's vital to harness synergies from both technical and ecological demands and to gain a comprehensive understanding of the natural environment.
