Positive Psychologie im Krankenhaus: Wechselwirkungen im Arbeitsalltag von Pflege- und Ärzteschaft
摘要
In the modern workplace, teamwork and flat hierarchies enhance job satisfaction. Positive Psychology offers scientific approaches to improving well-being and performance. In hospitals, however, strong hierarchies and traditional structures hinder the implementation of modern practices. Particularly in the collaboration between nursing and medical staff, hierarchical traditions shape the perception of work.
AimThe study aims to examine the well-being of nursing and medical staff based on the PERMA model. It focuses on differences and influencing factors in collaboration. The study explores which factors are associated with the elements of Positive Emotion, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning, and Accomplishment. The findings aim to provide strategies for improving job satisfaction and collaboration.
MethodIn May 2021, a quantitative survey was conducted in a German maximum care hospital. The representative sample included 1,333 responses. The data were analyzed using SPSS with descriptive statistics, Spearman correlations, and Mann-Whitney U tests.
ResultsEngagement (M: 3.70) and Positive Emotion (M: 3.42) were the most strongly perceived elements. Meaning, Accomplishment, and Relationships were less pronounced. Significant differences were observed between professional groups, genders, and leadership levels.
ConclusionThe findings show that leadership behavior shapes the perception of the PERMA elements. Historical structures have gender-specific effects. Leadership levels contribute to well-being, satisfaction, and motivation in various ways.
