Selbstwirksamkeit von Auszubildenden in der generalistischen Pflegeausbildung durch Simulationslernen mittels Virtual Reality unterstützen – ein Literatur-Review

The general nursing training in Germany aims to prepare trainees for complex care situations. Simulation learning using virtual reality (VR) could be an effective method to increase the self-efficacy of nursing students.

The aim of this paper is to examine the current state of the literature on the impact of VR simulation in the nursing field on the self-efficacy of nursing students.

A systematic literature search was conducted adhering to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines.

Of the 12 included studies 9 showed significantly positive effects of simulation learning using VR on the self-efficacy of nursing students.

The use of VR could be a valuable addition to other learning methods to support the self-efficacy of nursing students.
