Foetor Ex Ore und SIBO — Mikrobiom in der Dysbalance
摘要
Recent data show that a cause of bad breath and the associated disruption of the local microecology are closely linked to intestinal dysbiosis. It seems to be particularly pronounced when anaerobic bacteria from the large intestine can penetrate into the small intestine and change the environment there in the long term. In the broadest sense, this condition is referred to as SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth). The connections will be described below and therapeutic approaches will be derived from them.
