<p>This study examines the environmental and health impacts of scrap and e-waste recycling in the western part of Hebron in the West Bank, as an area hub for recycling sites in Palestine. Illegal recycling practices have made this area a known pollution hotspot. Using primary data from surveys, questionnaire, interviews, fieldwork, and GIS spatial analysis, alongside secondary data from previous studies on environment and human health effects of recycling process. The research identifies over 485 recycling sites and 85 burning sites. Approximately 600 tons of waste enter the area daily, 80% from Israeli side. The sector employs over 85% of the study area population, yet 80% of residents express dissatisfaction with the waste process management. Findings highlight severe environmental and health risks due to inadequate site management and toxic exposure. The study urges increased awareness among residents, safer recycling methods, and more strict regulations.</p>
