摘要

Several factors need to be considered when choosing the best among the numerous adsorbents for a sustainable CO2 capture system. In this study, the adsorbent selection was made for CO2 capture among 5 different amine-based solid sorbent alternatives including zeolite, carbon-based, metal–organic framework, metal oxide, and porous polymer based on chosen 8 important criteria. The criteria were weighted with the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Entropy methods. Then, Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) with the expanded multi-objective optimization by ratio analysis plus full multiplicative form (MULTIMOORA) and technique for order of preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) methods was realized, and the results were compared. The results have shown that the zeolite emerges as the best alternative followed by metal-oxide, while the carbon-based is found to be the weakest performed adsorbent. The novelty of the study lies to prioritize CO2 adsorbents with MCDM methods.
