摘要

An environmental pollution detection mechanism is proposed from Susceptibility (χ’s) and Conductivity (σ’s) measurement techniques using dielectric relaxation behavior of mango tree leaves. The proposed dielectric model measures and estimates various useful dielectric relaxation parameters such as permittivity, conductivity and susceptibility of mango leaves and subsequently determines the environmental pollution effectively. Dielectric measurements were executed in mango leaves assembled from high polluted region and low polluted region under broadband microwave field at 25 °C temperature. Different dielectric characteristics of high polluted region and low polluted region suggests that dielectric relaxation study in terms of permittivity, conductivity and susceptibility parameters has potential in identifying environmental pollution due to various airborne contaminants such as Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu, Pb, Ni, Cr and Cd.
