Melaminium tris dihydrogen phosphate (MTDP): a simple, green and affordable molten salt catalyst for the synthesis of three types of pyrano[2,3-d]pyrimidinone(thione) derivatives
摘要
This research delves into the synthesis and detailed examination of Melaminium Tris Dihydrogen Phosphate (MTDP), a tricationic Brønsted-acidic molten salt. The characterization of MTDP was carried out using an array of advanced spectroscopic techniques, including FT-IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and 31P NMR spectroscopy. Once extensively identified, MTDP was subsequently utilized as a highly efficient and recyclable catalyst to facilitate the synthesis of pyrano[2,3-d]pyrimidinone derivatives. The proposed synthetic approach highlights several significant benefits, such as the achievement of high product yields, expedited reaction rates, mild and manageable reaction conditions, and, most importantly, the adoption of environmentally friendly and non-toxic reagents. By leveraging readily accessible and industrial-grade precursors with minimal levels of toxicity, this study symbolizes a strategic method for developing catalytic systems that are not only effective but also sustainable for conducting organic transformations.
