A systematic literature review of mathematical models for tuberculosis and dengue fever diseases, and their respective co-infections
摘要
Both tuberculosis and dengue pose significant global health risks due to their high mortality rates and widespread incidence. Co-infections can exacerbate symptoms and increase mortality. This work presents a systematic review and classification of compartmental mathematical models for tuberculosis, dengue, and the co-infections of each of them based on a literature review of 185 studies, revealing 244 distinct models categorized by type, order (integer or fractional), data usage (public and real-world), and control measures for disease mitigation. The findings show that the articles cover model development, mathematical analysis, sensitivity analysis, optimal control strategies, and research discoveries, contributing valuable insights for future research in the field.
