The role of nanotechnology and integrating vaccination strategies for controlling rabies epidemic: a case study of China
摘要
This work suggests a mathematical framework for the dynamics of rabies propagation, taking consideration of vaccination as possible preventive way to deal with the problem and actual information on confirmed cases of rabies is used to validate the model’s legitimacy. This framework analyses the rabies propagation dynamics, equilibrium point with its local and global stability, parameter estimates, and reproductive numbers. Sensitivity analysis shows key elements affecting transmission, and 3-dimensional surface graphs show how the threshold elements affect the fundamental reproduction rate. To counter this issue, control measures like conducting campaigns to educate people, using nanotechnology, vaccination of susceptible animals, and vaccine efficacy have been suggested and examined.
