Purpose of Review <p>Technological advances in navigational bronchoscopy in recent years have created a reliable pathway to the peripheral lung, allowing for new treatment possibilities for early lung cancer. Treating peripheral lung cancers remains challenging due to the complexity of fully accessing lung anatomy and the small size of lesions. Minimally invasive therapeutic techniques are vital, as many patients are unsuitable for aggressive invasive procedures or systemic therapies.</p> Recent Findings <p>This review article examines the array of transbronchial therapeutic techniques either approved or currently in development. Key developments include radiofrequency ablation (RFA), microwave ablation (MWA), and cryoablation, working alongside diagnostic tools such as electromagnetic navigation bronchoscopy (ENB), radial endobronchial ultrasound (r-EBUS), and robotic-assisted bronchoscopy (RAB).</p> Summary <p>Transbronchial interventional therapies represent promising minimally invasive options for managing peripheral lung cancers. However, further clinical trials are necessary to confirm the safety, effectiveness, and long-term outcomes of these novel techniques.</p>
