摘要

The present study elucidates variant selection and microstructure evolution resulting from stress-accommodation and self-accommodation in additively manufactured Ti–6Al–4V. This investigation employs electron microscopy and ABAQUS simulations, specifically focusing on the shape strain associated with martensite transformation. Notably, pressure stress is observed in the deposition direction, leading to the prevalence of Variants 7 and 12. In this context, the martensite plates manifest clustering into vertical morphologies. These distinctive morphologies are adept at accommodating the shear strain inherent in the shape strain to varying degrees.
