Case report. Transrectale en transvaginale benaderingen voor interventies in het kleine bekken door de uroloog
摘要
Transrectal and transvaginal approaches for interventions in the pelvis are often preferred over percutaneous techniques, due to reduced interference with surrounding anatomical structures. This case report describes two cases: a transvaginal biopsy of a tumour located in the bladder wall and a transrectal drainage of a pelvis abscess. These techniques are minimally invasive, safe and well tolerated by patients. The interventions can be performed by medical specialists from various disciplines, including urologists with expertise in the pelvic region and experience in ultrasound-guided procedures.
