Gynaecologische klachten na een radicale cystectomie
摘要
In the Netherlands, an increase in patients with prolapse after female radical cystectomy presented in an outpatient gynecological clinic is sensed. For patients this can mean a significant loss of quality of life and for urogynaecologists this is an extremely difficult problem to resolve. Treatment is challenging because of lack of supporting tissue at the anterior vaginal wall, which is usually removed during a radical cystectomy. In this paper, we would like to ask attention for this complication, possible causes, complaints that patients present with and some treatment options. Finally, the results of a questionnaire are presented and a proposal is done which women should be offered an organ-sparing cystectomy.
