Case report. Recidiverende hematurie bij radiatiecystitis: overweeg selectieve transarteriële embolisatie van de blaas
摘要
Recurrent hematuria is a well-known complication in urologic patients with radiation cystitis. Its treatment can be challenging. Treatment options include intravesical aluin or hyperbaric oxygen therapy. If a patient proves to be therapy-resistant, and no other treatment options are available, bladder embolisation could serve as a last resort. This case report discusses a case in which embolization of the bladder provided a solution. Follow-up showed to this day no recurrence of hematuria.
