Developmental trend study on China’s mineral resources policy based on web crawler and textual analysis approach
摘要
China has made remarkable achievements in the construction of green mines, and sorting out the developmental trend of China’s mineral resources policy helps to understand the Chinese government’s determination and efforts to realize green and high-quality development. To Make the investigation, this study obtained 752 mineral resources policy texts with a web crawler from the Chinese laws and regulations database, including title, time, department, category, and text content. Then, the time and spatial distribution characteristics of China’s mineral resources policies were statistically analyzed, the issuing categories and departments, along with the deeper connotations; finally, the word clouds of mineral resources policy were built through textual analysis approach, to compare the policy orientations between traditional and green mining policies. The results indicate that China’s mining policies exhibit distinct temporal and spatial distribution patterns and have undergone three obvious evolutionary stages. Word cloud analysis suggests a paradigm shift in mining policies, transitioning from traditional mining focused on safety to environmentally centered green mining. This study introduced an innovative methodology into the field of mineral resources research, offering valuable insights for future scholarly investigations, while clearly emphasizing the core mission and unwavering commitment that underpin China’s green mining initiatives.
