Fusion Analysis of 36S with 50Ti and 51 V at Sub-barrier Energies

The symmetric-asymmetric Gaussian barrier distribution (SAGBD) model and coupled channel approach have been employed to investigate the fusion dynamics of 36S + 50Ti and 36S + 51 V systems at sub-barrier energies. Using Winther and Akyüz-Winther parameterization for the diffuseness in the Woods-Saxon potential in SAGBD model, fusion cross-sections as well as barrier distributions were estimated. The fusion cross-sections produced by SAGBD model, with an optimum diffuseness parameter, are in good agreement with the fusion data, in all energy range considered. Additionally, coupled channel calculations have been performed by including vibrational states of the colliding pairs. The fusion data at near and above barrier energies for both reactions were recovered by including single phonon 2+ and double phonon 2+ vibrational states of projectile and target, respectively.
