摘要

This study proposes the utilization of graphitization furnace resistor material (GRM), a by-product of the graphitization process, to substitute conventional calcined petroleum coke (CPC) for the production of high-quality anodes. The experimental results indicate that GRM possesses a higher degree of graphitization and superior thermal stability. Anodes fabricated using GRM as a fine aggregate demonstrated higher density, greater compressive strength, and improved air and CO2 reactivity. When the pitch content was maintained between 15.5 and 16 wt.%, the resulting anodes exhibited a high baking density of 1.58 g/cm3, a compressive strength of 30.61 MPa, along with high air reaction residue yield of 83.68% and CO2 reaction residue yield of 91.1%.
