摘要

Efficient container dispatching and truck allocation are critical for optimizing logistics operations, particularly in dynamic and complex environments. As ports and logistics systems face increasing demands, the need for smart solutions to handle container arrivals, meet customer needs, and adhere to operational deadlines has become dominant. This study addresses these challenges by proposing a smart system powered by genetic algorithms. The system focuses on improving efficiency by dynamically scheduling container dispatches upon their arrival at the port, considering factors such as customer requirements, fleet capacity, and real-world constraints like port policies. In addition, this study investigates the relationship between strategic decisions about fleet size adjustments and their impact on operational costs. To evaluate the system's scalability and effectiveness, benchmark datasets with varying complexities are introduced and solved. The findings offer a practical solution with significant implications for logistics operations, demonstrating the potential of smart systems in container dispatching and strategic truck allocation.
