Finite monogenic posemigroups are absolutely closed

Howie has shown that finite monogenic semigroups are absolutely closed in the category of all semigroups. In this article, we show that finite monogenic posemigroups are absolutely closed in the category of all posemigroups. This in particular reaffirms the absolute closedness of finite monogenic semigroups in the category of all semigroups.
